Welcome to our Shrewsbury Office!

December 15, 2023

We are proud to share that we have recently opened our 4th office, with our new premises at Windsor House in Shrewsbury.

This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone for Envireau Water, demonstrating our development and continuing commitment to better serve clients in the region, and is a reflection of the growing demand for water resource consultancy throughout the midlands.

Our new office is situated within a grade II Listed Building in the heart of Shrewsbury town, just a short walk from the railway station and car parks. It will serve as another hub for our operations with a team of dedicated professionals on-site, as well as opportunities for growth as we look to bring new talent to our new office.

Dr Phil Ham, Envireau Water’s Managing Director, commented:

“I’m delighted to see that our growth plans are well underway! We’ve welcomed five new team members this year and hope to welcome many more following the opening of our newest office.

Shrewsbury is often referred to as a hub for hydrogeology and geoscience in the UK, with many talented professionals working there. Alongside our ever-expanding client list and projects in the West Midlands, our new base is a long time coming!”

Juan Rivera, our latest recruit and senior hydrogeologist, is the first member of the team who recently joined us from Stantec. He commented;

“I’m thrilled to be a key part of the new Shrewsbury office and to join the Envireau Water team at such a pivotal point in their growth. Envireau Water consults on many complex projects, providing a supportive environment to broaden my technical expertise.

Since joining in early November, I have contributed to the licensing of a greenfield sand and gravel quarry, computed dewatering calculations for hard rock quarries to feed into licensing applications, delivered a borehole prognosis report for a proposed data centre’s process water, supported junior staff, and attended the Borehole Users Conference!

I look forward to welcoming new team members to the Shrewsbury office in the New Year.”

Interested in capturing the opportunity to join our Shrewsbury office? Phil and Juan want to hear from you; apply over the Christmas break and send your cover letter and CV to info@envireauwater.co.uk!
