Meet the Newest Members of Envireau Water

We are excited to welcome two new members to the Envireau Team!
Winter 2023 has been a season of growth, having already welcomed three more graduates earlier this year.
Based in our Midlands Office, Rachael and Juan are two of the newest members of our team.
Before joining us, Rachael completed a BA in Business Management and Marketing from Nottingham Trent University and graduated last summer. Before that, her work experience at Davidson's Development as part of the Sales and Marketing team provided her with a solid theoretical foundation in business strategies and marketing principles, which she will utilise as part of the Business Support Team. Rachael will work closely with Lauren Moore, Operations Manager and Emily Hand, our Business Support Assistant.
Rachael commented: 'I am very excited to join the Envireau Water team and put what I have learnt into practice in an industry I am passionate about. I have thoroughly enjoyed my first month here and getting stuck into the Borehole Users Conference preparations!'
Juan joined us in November as a senior Hydrogeologist, working closely with Deborah Thomas, Principal Hydrogeologist.
Before joining, Juan completed a Bachelor's degree in Geographical Engineering at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Peru before graduating from Newcastle University with an MSc in Hydrogeology and Water Management, where his dissertation was awarded the John Day Bursary from The International Association of Hydrogeologists.
Juan has extensive knowledge and experience in his field, having worked on projects from around the globe (including the UK, Peru, Australia, Argentina, and Chile) as well as working for several different consultancies specialising in groundwater, hydrology, water management, feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments and risk assessments for mining, quarry, food, drink, water supply, and other industry sectors.
Juan commented: 'I enjoy new challenges, and Envireau Water certainly has plenty of interesting projects. It is exciting to get to know the team, who have all made me feel very welcome in these first few weeks.'
