Supporting the Calvert Trust

February 18, 2021

We believe it’s important to go the extra mile for causes we believe in. For many years, Envireau Water has been taking part in annual walks and other team building challenges, all in the name of a brilliant charity, the Calvert Trust

The charity’s mission is to enable people with disabilities to benefit from outdoor activities in the countryside. If we have learnt anything from the last twelve months, it’s how important outdoor space is to our mental and physical wellbeing and how disheartening it can be to have your freedom restricted.

We are very conscious of the ongoing financial impacts to charities from the pandemic. Whist we have been prevented from getting together to scale mountains and clock up those miles to raise funds in the normal way, we are thrilled to announce that we have donated £5,000 to the Calvert Trust’s Exmoor & Lake District sites. We know that more is needed but hope this goes a little way to keeping both centres operational and look forward to them reopening later this year.

If you’re wondering how you can join us in helping such a fantastic charity bounce back, please take a look at the links below. After all, like the Calvert Trust says, ‘it’s what you can do that counts.’
