Meet the Newest Member of Envireau Water

August 18, 2023

We’re always excited to see the Envireau Team continue to grow, and we are pleased to welcome Katy as our newest Hydrogeologist to the team.

Based in our Scottish Office, Katy is our newest Hydrogeologist, working closely with Christopher Woodhouse, Shona Symon, and Grace Nielson, Katy will join our groundwater team.

Katy has joined us from WSP, where she began her career working as a Graduate Engineer/Hydrogeologist, delivering reports, conceptual models, hydrogeological risk assessments, proposals, presentations, site work and numerical models to clients.

Prior to this role, Katy gained an MSc in Hydrogeology from University of Strathclyde, after graduating from University of Glasgow with a BSc in Geology.

As a Hydrogeologist at Envireau Water, Katy will be involved in a wide variety of projects across all our sectors. Since joining the team, she has already been getting stuck in on project work and attending site meetings alongside our Principal Hydrogeologist, Chris Woodhouse.

Katy commented: “I am excited to be a part of the Envireau Water team and apply more of my physical hydrogeology skills.

One month in, I’ve already been to many of our main client’s sites on hydrological, sediment removal, and private water supply projects, as well as desk-based EIA and pumping test analysis work. The mixture of site and desk-based work has been varied, fast paced and a good learning experience.

In the months to come I look forward to continuing my involvement in progressive projects within different sectors and further enhancing my knowledge base.”
