Principal Hydrogeologist

I joined Envireau Water in early 2021 as a Principal Hydrogeologist, and lead Envireau Water’s Team in Scotland. I am a Chartered Geologist and Fellow of the Institute of Quarrying with over 12 years’ technical experience in the minerals and waste, food and drink, and water resources sectors. I am also an active member of the Extractive Industry Geology (EIG) organising committee. I support clients with a wide range of projects involving the water environment including water supply development, assessing impacts of effluent discharge and landfilling, dewatering assessments, climate resilience, and flood risk management.

Prior to joining Envireau Water, I worked as a Senior Hydrogeologist at Stantec (formerly ESI Ltd) within the minerals and waste team and worked in New Zealand and Western Australia as a Hydrogeologist and Gold Exploration Geologist, respectively.

I hold an MSci in Natural Sciences (specialising in geology) from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Hydrogeology from the University of Birmingham.
