James Joins the Quarterly Journal of Engineering Geology and Hydrogeology Editorial Board

October 23, 2019

We are pleased and proud to announce that our Chairperson James Dodds has accepted an invitation to join the editorial board of the internationally acclaimed journal the Quarterly Journal of Engineering Geology and Hydrogeology (QJEGH).

QJEGH is owned by the Geological Society of London and published by the Geological Society Publishing House and is an established peer reviewed international journal featuring papers on geology as applied to civil engineering mining practice and water resources. Papers are invited from, and about, all areas of the world on engineering geology and hydrogeology topics. This includes but is not limited to: applied geophysics, engineering geomorphology, environmental geology, hydrogeology, groundwater quality, ground source heat, contaminated land, waste management, land use planning, geotechnics, rock mechanics, geomaterials and geological hazards. The journal also publishes the prestigious Glossop and Ineson lectures, research papers, case studies, review articles, technical notes, photographic features, thematic sets, discussion papers, editorial opinion and book reviews.

On accepting the invitation James said “The invitation came out of the blue, but having subscribed to the journal since the 1980’s I look forward to giving something back to the Geological Society and to providing support to the board and reviewing papers submitted for publication”.

At Envireau Water, we really value our professional memberships with organisations like the Geological Society. These memberships allow our team to enhance their sector knowledge, connect with like-minded professionals and develop professionally, meaning that they can provide the best possible advice to our clients.
