Hydraulic Modelling & remote Working

May 14, 2020

Hydraulic models can be used for many purposes. At Envireau Water, we use them to not only provide a more in-depth assessment of flow pathways, flood extents and flood risk but also to convey complicated information in a simple and easy way to understand.

Our Hydrologist Rebecca recently created a hydraulic model following a visit to a site in Yorkshire, which she then presented remotely during a video conference. This was a great way to share technical knowledge, allowing all stakeholders to gain a good understanding of how flow pathways develop at the site during a storm event, without everyone having to visit in person!

If you want to discuss a project get in touch with our technical lead LeeClarke@envireauwater.co.uk to see how we can help.
