Envireau Water Welcomes Eileen

October 7, 2019

Eileen is an intern based in the North Office in Richmond and joined the Envireau Water team after completing her MSc in Hydrogeology and Water Management at Newcastle University. She received her BSc from the University of Texas at Austin in Environmental Science.

Before moving to the UK, Eileen worked for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, which is the state’s regulatory agency. During her time there, Eileen mainly focused on water rights permitting, streamflow monitoring, and interpretation of environmental regulations relating to water availability.

Responsibilities in her previous role included the management of various pollution prevention programs, consultation with the regulated community, and public education and outreach. This, together with the experience gained through modules undertaken as part of the MSc course at Newcastle University brings additional technical expertise to the Envireau Water team.

At Envireau Water, Eileen will be assisting on a wide range of projects and is already working on projects involving groundwater feasibility studies, abstraction licensing, and borehole construction, management, and operation.
