June 7, 2024

Join us in welcoming our newest team member, Richard Holtham, to Envireau Water as a Senior Hydrogeologist!

Richard joined the team at the end of May after six years at Stantec, working within the Minerals team. Prior to this role, Richard graduated from the University of Oxford with an MEarthSci in Earth Sciences and later from the University of Birmingham with an MSc in Hydrogeology.

Richard has experience compiling and managing hydrogeological impact assessments, flood risk assessments, and drainage strategies for quarry developments in various hydrological settings, including sand and gravel, and limestone quarries. He is also well-practiced in compiling water management plans, landfill condition assessments, and the UK regulatory frameworks.

At Envireau Water, Richard will fulfill a similar role providing hydrogeological services for a wide variety of projects in our mineral and industrial sector for our diverse client base.

Richard commented: “I am thrilled to join the Envireau Water team in Shrewsbury and can’t wait to get stuck in! I’m looking forward to working on a wide range of projects and broadening my skillset in the unique and challenging projects that Envireau Water is known for.”

The team is thrilled to have Richard join and to see our newest office flourish. Richard will be supported and given the space to develop his career in a fast-paced, varied environment.
