Dr Phil Ham MEng, PhD, MSEE

Managing Director, Principal Hydrogeologist

With over 20 years of professional experience working with natural water systems, Phil holds a Master's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Doctorate in Environmental Hydrogeology.

Phil's extensive knowledge of UK hydrogeology and regulatory frameworks, combined with his engineering background, enables him to deliver practical and pragmatic solutions to a broad range of water and environmental problems across a range of industry sectors including food and drink manufacturing, water bottling, brewing, distilling and allied industries, as well as pharmaceuticals and manufacturing.

Phil's expertise lies primarily within private water supplies; their development, management and protection. However, Phil also holds expert knowledge surrounding Private Water Supply and Bottled Drinking Water Regulations, NMW accreditations, Abstraction Licensing, Hydrogeological risk assessments and the practical aspects of operating, managing, and protecting natural water systems.

Having reviewed and carried out numerous private water supply risk assessments on behalf of private clients and local authorities, Phil has also obtained an exceptional understanding of the vagaries of such and how they are applied in England, Scotland, and Wales.

Phil has appeared in both the English and Scottish jurisdictions (public enquiry - Reporters).
