Envireau Water's Mindfulness in the Workplace
Building resilience, establishing a routine and understanding our emotions and how to combat these, are just a few of the things that Louise, our Office Manager has been providing advice on in the form of a weekly newsletter.
Louise attended a St Johns Ambulance Adult Mental Health First Aid course which has enabled her to become a mental health first aider. Covering a range of topics with a focus on mental health in the workplace, Louise has been able to pass knowledge and topics on, allowing the Envireau Team to become more aware of how we are feeling and the importance of good mental and physical health.
During this period where many of us are ‘working from home’ it is more important than ever that we regularly check in with colleagues and keep a balance between work and home life. This maintains the strong ‘Team Mentality’ within and between our office groups, as well as spending time with family.
By implementing a range of physical and mental activities and strategies, all the Envireau Team have created a supportive and friendly remote working environment. From weekly yoga sessions and Friday quiz’s, to daily discussions and team challenges, all contributed to a productive workforce, increased resilience and adapting well to a ‘new normal’.
Louise’s weekly newsletters have helped us a lot, therefore we thought we would share a summary of them so that they might help others too; take a read here.
Please note that we are not claiming ownership for these summary points and guidance on mindfulness, these are simply easy reads based from various sources that have helped our team adapt to a ‘new normal’.
