Construction Design Management Regulations

January 20, 2021

At Envireau Water we are one team, it’s simply in our culture. That’s why there is nothing we enjoy more than collaborating, appreciating each other’s diverse academic backgrounds and taking part in CPD. Throughout the year our calendar is packed with lunchtime learning sessions where we each present a topic relevant to our field of expertise. This includes demonstrations of specialist and innovative field equipment, updates on software packages such as ESRI ArcGIS, and in the case of our latest one, the Construction Design and Management regulations (CDM).

How CDM is embedded at Envireau Water

Excellent health & safety practices are part of our ethos here at Envireau Water. This is reflected in our client’s confidence in our ability to undertake the role of a Principal Contractor or Principal Designer. Our collaborative approach and how we seriously approach the CDM regulations is just one way in which we align our ethos with that of our wider commercial community.

In last week’s lunchtime learning session Stephen Craig (Senior Geologist), reminded the team of the pivotal points they should be aware of as Principal Contractor and shared his experience across a range of construction projects, including borehole development

Our Lunchtime Learnings

The importance of these presentations is to ensure our team are kept up to date on a range of developments across our four key sectors, along with providing the opportunity for staff to hone presentation skills and broadening our knowledge outside our main fields of interest.

Can you contribute to our team?

We are seeking talented Senior Level Professionals to join our talented team and would love to know what you can teach us! If you have valuable expertise, want to be supported by those around you and be at the forefront of your field, apply now!
