Celebrating Professional Growth This National Apprenticeship Week

February 10, 2022

Apprenticeships come in a variety of forms and offer the opportunity to learn whilst working in paid employment. However, they are not only for junior staff, but anyone who has a desire to grow and learn whilst working, at whatever level and in whatever discipline.

At Envireau Water, professional development is encouraged and not just in the disciplines of hydrology and hydrogeology. Whether part of the technical team or the business team, everyone plays an invaluable part in the growth and success of the company.

Envireau Water’s Business Operations Manager, Lauren Moore is in the middle of her MSc in Management and Leadership accredited by the CMI’s Senior Leader Apprenticeship Programme at Cranfield University.

Lauren says, “Envireau Water have given me the opportunity to develop my career and leadership skills by funding my degree course. With CMI’s Senior Leader Apprenticeship Programme, I can continue to work whilst also studying in my spare time. Once qualified, I will have an internationally recognised degree which will help me to progress my career and become a CMI Chartered Manager (CMgr MCMI) or Chartered Fellow (CMgr FMCI).”

Lauren’s mentor and founder of Envireau Water, James Dodds says, “We are delighted to support our team in their ambitions to develop their skills and careers. Masters’ programmes, accredited training courses and apprenticeships provide extra skills and qualifications which enhance the knowledge of our professional team, while also being beneficial for our clients and the business.”
