Andrew Tait
Principal Hydrogeologist
I joined Envireau Water in June 2024 as a Principal Hydrogeologist, based in the Shrewsbury Office. I am a Chartered Geologist and have over 22 years of consultancy experience. My primary focus for much of my career has been in extractive industry related hydrogeology and i have strong experience across water resources and contaminated land projects.
I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2004 with a master’s degree in Hydrogeology. Prior to that I studied at University College Cork and gained a bachelor’s degree in Geology/Earth Science.
Prior to joining Envireau Water, I worked as a Principal Hydrogeologist/Technical Director at Stantec where much of my work focused on the mineral sector. As well as technical work, I was also responsible for Business Development and Team Leadership for the minerals hydrogeology team for approximately 2 years.
