A Great Achievement for Our Environmental Scientist

October 12, 2020

It’s time for a celebration! Last week Joe received the fantastic news that he has passed his Masters degree in Hydrogeology from Newcastle University, with flying colours.

Here Joe shares his thoughts:

‘I am delighted to announce that I have passed the Newcastle University Hydrogeology and Water Management M.Sc. with a Merit. In addition, my dissertation on deployable output assessments on groundwater supplies in the private sector received a Distinction and has been nominated for the IAH John Day Award 2020

I want to thank Envireau Water for sponsoring the course alongside my job. A special thanks to James Dodds for all the technical support during my final project.

I want to congratulate all the class of 2020, it has been an unusual and challenging few months to maintain the right mindset to get our dissertations over the line but we’ve done it! I hope wherever you are in the world right now, you’re celebrating!’

James Dodds, Chairperson at Envireau Water, commented:

‘Joe has spent many long evenings and weekends to achieve this fantastic result. Envireau Water are thrilled to have supported him in his academic achievements… but now it’s time to put that theory into practice!’

Needless to say that the entire Envireau Water team is thrilled for Joe too! He has worked incredibly hard over the past 2 years, juggling his studies and his role as an Environmental Scientist.

As a company, we encourage our team to continue learning and developing in their fields of interests, Joe being the second team member that we have supported through a Masters degree in the space of two years. That’s not to mention the multitude of training courses we invest in to ensure our team are at the forefront of industry knowledge. Just take a look at our case studies page to see how we put that knowledge and expertise in practice.
